Kareem Reid is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on August 27, 1975 in Bronx, New York, United States. Following his departure of the Hornets, Reid signed with the Asheville Altitude, leading them to winning the NBDL championship during the 2003-04 season. Reid was averaging 12.0 scores per contest and was at third place in the league, with 6.7 assists per game. Reid joined with the Arkansas Rimrockers for their inaugural season in the American Basketball Association, leading the league with assists of 9.0 per game. Reid earned the title of league MVP, and also his Championship Game MVP in the Rimrockers winning the championship following during the season of 2004-05. Reid remained with the Rimrockers as the team moved to into the NBA Development League for the 2005-06 season. He was the top player in all league players in assist, with the average being 8.1 per match.

Reid was selected as a member of the All-SEC Freshman Team following the 1995-96 season as well as being named Second Team All-SEC as an sophomore.
