Yatzil Elizalde, 25, is the owner of White Light, a tattoo studio in Hermosillo, Mexico.
She started her career as a visual artist, doing illustrations, murals, and digital work until she was "finally able to tattoo a human body with the style that always defined me."
That style can roughly be described as double vision: Some of her signature tattoos feature the same image twice, sometimes even three times, and always slightly off from one another, leading to a dizzying look.
"It's going to sound weird, but there are some times in my life when I see things that way, 'dizzy,'" she told Insider. She calls it the "Blurry Effect."

Yatzil Elizalde has worked as a tattoo artist for six years, and now owns her own shop, called White Light.
She specializes in fine lines and trippy, double-vision designs.
She calls it the "Blurry Effect."
Drawing these tattoos freehand is her favorite technique.
She says she's perfected her process and doesn't get dizzy creating these tattoos.
She says she loves "imagining that people can get the feeling that their sight is getting blurry when they look at my tattoos. I feel good that people can experience this through my art."
Elizalde considers her tattoos optical illusions: "They definitely accomplish that visual effect," she said.
To date, she says she's done around 40 of these double-vision pieces ...
... from Disney characters ...
... to replicas of famous works of art ...
... to portraits.
While the cost depends on the size, design, and location of the tattoo, she says her hourly rate is usually between $250 to $350.
